Grapes - Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Gouveio, Dona Branca, Viosinho and Bical
Appearance - very clear and bright, with a pale lemon colour. A watery rim and just a few visible tears.
Nose - clean and youthful beautiful fresh aromatics of medium plus intensity, stone fruits aromas resembling white peaches, a distinct floral note of chamomile, some fresh cooked pear, just a slight drop of honey on the backside
Palate - dry wine with medium acidity although still refreshing, medium warming alcohol level and medium body. Flavour wise it is showing medium plus intensity but with a riper character than the nose was hinting, with sweet juicy pears, ripe apricots, white peaches and lots of floral notes. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (14,5/20)- a good quality wine, intensely fruity, very perfumed, very fluid on the palate with seamless drink ability. For me it has a slight unbalance, a noticeable sweetish, ripe character towards the end that lingers on the aftertaste, but most will be thankful for this feature. Drink now, take it for your holidays for relaxed thoughtless nights.
