Appearance - clear and bright, lovely lemon colour with medium intensity.
Nose - clean, youthful, medium plus intensity of ripe stone fruits mixed with fresh tropical fruits like pineapple, a saline note
Palate - dry, medium plus acidity, medium plus body and medium alcohol, Medium plus flavour intensity with ripe citrus fruit, apricot, juicy pineapple, a minerally stony note and some saline nuances. Long length.
Conclusions (16,75/20) - lovely wine, the most balanced of the 2012 AdegaMãe mono-varietals. Intense fruit weight renders a round, smooth and ripe palate, a side balanced by just the right amount of refreshing acidity lending it vivacity. Intense but contained. Has a nice complex finish where some savoury, salty notes come through. Very hedonistic for now but showing it can withhold the toll of time, drink now for intensity or keep up to 3 years for a little more complexity.
