Appearance - clear, medium plus intensity dark ruby.
Nose - clean, developing medium intensity fruit aromas of plum, blackcurrant and hints of cocoa.
Palate - dry, medium acidity, medium minus tannin level very rounded and sweetish. A medium plus body and alcohol level with intense ripe plummy flavours and some sweet spice. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (15/20) - Good quality, very approachable wine, with smooth round tannins and nice flavour intensity dominated by plummy notes, has acceptable acidity level, but would benefit from some extra freshness. Ready to drink. A modern Alentejo.
