Appearance - clear and bright, medium minus ruby colour with some visible tears.
Nose - clean, youthful aromatics of medium intensity of ripe red fruits like cherries fresh but also some jam like aromas, liquorice, some slight traces of sweet spices and a pinch of vanilla oaky notes. A fresh, stony mineral undertone.
Palate - dry, high mouthwatering acidity, medium plus fine grained tannins, medium plus warming alcohol and a medium body. Medium plus intensity flavours showing a beautiful sweet cherry fruit, some pungent black pepper notes and liquorice, flowery hints and an earthy minerality. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (16,75/20) - very good quality, shows tipicity in terms of origin and variety, genuine. Lovely, bright sweet fruit, very well defined and fairly concentrated. Nice aromatic and flavour complexity with a fresh prolonged length. Ready to drink, incredibly gastronomic, but will keep nicely for 6 to 8 years.
