Appearance - clear and bright with medium minus ruby colour, a lighter rim and some visible tears.
Nose - clean, showing fully developed aromas of medium intensity resembling black fruit, raisins, some leather and an earthy touch.
Palate -Dry with medium acidity level, has a medium plus, somewhat coarse, level of tannins a medium alcohol level, feeling warm and a medium minus body. Medium flavour intensity again showing raisins, black fruits, fig, leather and a hint of tobacco leaf that lends it a spicy finish in the medium minus length.
Conclusions (14,5/20) - Acceptable quality, showing the region's tipicity mixing the black berries with mature tertiary notes, somewhat complex, but with a coarse, hard tannin structure that, in my view, doesn't have enough fruit concentration to accompany a positive evolution towards integration. Has a very drying length, only tolerable with food, preferably red meat rich in protein.
