Grapes - Syrah 42%, Aragonês 39% (Tempranillo) and Touriga Nacional 19%
Appearance - clear, medium intensity ruby colour.
Nose - clean, fully developed bouquet with pronounced intensity. Aromas range from dark plums, a hint of strawberry, some raisins, fig, coffee notes, and lots of sweet spice.
Palate - Dry, medium acidity, medium minus ripe tannins, medium alcohol and body. Pronounced flavours of ripe fruit and sweet spice as evident as on the nose. Long length showing some earthiness on the finish.
Conclusions (17,5/20) - Very good quality, premium priced, ready to drink, peeking, no point keeping it further. Showing beautiful tertiary aromas and flavours backed up by ripe vivacious fruit, an endless after-taste, a pleasure to drink. Very focused and so well made.
