Curiosity, that's what drives life forward. Some point it out as a flaw of character I see it as fuel.
If I stand still without any interest in what lies around me I might as well be dead! I want to know, I want to be in the know and I can never have enough! If I can't learn it I'm gone get terribly itchy, I turn restless and won't stop until I get a satisfying answer.
New wines, new regions, new grapes, new styles.
New restaurants, new chefs, new ingredients, new pairings.
New cultures, new countries, new cities, new people.
New sounds, new voices, new music, new bands.
New books, new movies, new stories, new artists.
New jobs, new management, new tasks, new goals.
New experiences, I want more, I want new!!
Not as something obsessively unstoppable. Familiarity is also invaluable, roots are essential to sanity. Also love to be known, to be treated as a regular, to get that smile of someone missing you. I'm just not ready, and think I will never be, to quit the thrill of discovery, the excitement of the unknown, to find the next big thing.
It is a search to be richer, to live life at its fullest trying to minimize regrets. We are all fragile and finite, but we can wait or we can act and I always preferred to search.
Sometimes it's tiresome, it is so comfortable to find something you like and repeat it without the risk of potential disappointment. But how easily can this turn terribly boring?
Sometimes you're misinterpreted, seen as a demanding snob, but that just comes with the job!
It is almost impossible to escape a daily rut, but every chance you get eat different, drink different, be open to meeting something different, be ready for the world.

This is also a process of coming of age, it's a cycle, as a child or even a teenager you love repetition. As you age the interest of enriching knowledge grows stronger, and someway along the line you'll decide the path is long enough and will be able to narrow your choices to the really significant and endowed to offer ultimate pleasure.
