Appearance - clear and bright, medium intensity, pale gold colour.
Nose - clean, medium plus intensity developing aromatics show candied fruits like apricot and orange, marmalade, fresh pale honey and some toffee notes.
Palate - dry, medium plus acidity, medium alcohol and body. A medium plus flavour intensity consistent with the nose, with added minerality, some hazelnut and candied pineapple. Long honeyed length showing some gun-flint and grapefruit.
Conclusions (17,5/20) - outstanding quality, a beautiful bouquet, intense, concentrated tertiary and ripe fruit aromas and flavours, balanced with crisp acidity, all lingering in your palate for a long enjoyable time. Has all the good arguments to expect from a well matured Chenin, drink it now.
