Domaine Pacalet AC Pommard 2008
Tasted on October 2010
Appearance – clear, medium minus ruby.
Nose – clean, medium intensity, youthful. Red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry a slight vegetal leafy character.
Palate – dry, medium plus acidity, medium minus alcohol, medium tannin level and body. A bit harsh, flavour intensity is medium plus with sour cherry character and a green leafy undertone. A slight note of varnish. Medium length.
Conclusions – (14,5/20) Good quality, mid priced, ready to drink but will not improve.
