Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatelese 2007 Mosel
Tasted on October 2010
Appearance – clear, medium lemon-green.
Paler rim and a few tears.
Nose – clean, medium intensity, youthful.
Citrus fruit aromas like lime and lemon peel, some mineral character on the
steely side with a hint of petrol.
Palate – Medium sweet, high acidity, no
tannin, low alcohol and medium body. Medium plus flavour intensity with sweet
macerated lime, marmalade, some tropical pineapple fruit and a slight fizzy
sensation with mineral undertones. Medium plus length.
Conclusions(18/20) – Very good quality, high
priced, ready to drink but will improve. Incredible balance between fruit,
sweetness and mouthwatering acidity.
