Domaine Hudelot-Baillet Chambole-Musigny 1er Cru – Les Charmes 2007
Tasted on June 2010
Appearance – clear, medium minus ruby. Paler rim, some tears.
Nose – clean, medium intensity, red fruit aromas of raspberry and strawberry, a hint of oak.
Palate – dry, medium plus acidity, medium minus tannin, medium alcohol and body. Flavours of red fruits, raspberry and cherry, some vegetal herbaceous character showing eucalyptus and blackcurrant leaf. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (16,5/20) – Very good quality, premium priced. Wine is ready to drink but can improve.
