Appearance - clear and bright, medium minus intensity ruby colour with a touch of garnet.
Nose - Clean, developing aromatics with pronounced intensity, ranging from red fruits like cherries and raspberry, bramble black fruit, some leather, lots of sweet spices, like cloves and a floral undertone.
Palate - Dry, medium plus acidity, medium body and alcohol, a high amount of chalky tannin but well integrated. Palate consistent with the nose, maintaining the aromas profile and pronounced intensity. There's also notes of dark chocolate, tar and earthy hints. Leather note seems intensified on the long length.
Conclusions(18/20) - outstanding quality, clear sense of place, complex and powerful, perfect length, fine balance with fleshy fruit supported by a refreshing acidity, tannins are present saying wine is here to stay but fairly integrated to render it nice drink-ability, as long as well paired with food. Captivating nose and palate, so elegant and poised keeps you gripped to the glass, just lovely! Can drink now, but will show best in at least 4 years and will keep mellowing slowly for the next 10.
