Appearance - clear and bright, with a pale lemon green colour with a watery almost translucent rim. Very few visible tears.
Nose - clean, very vibrant and youthful aromas of medium intensity, resembling fresh stone fruits, mainly white peaches, intense citrus notes of lime and lemon zest, some tropical notes of pineapple, a slight floral note and just a hint of stony minerality.
Palate - off dry wine, with high acidity, light alcohol level and body. A medium plus flavour intensity once again very fresh and vibrant, the floral and the pineapple notes a bit more evident but overall the aromatic profile is consistent with the flavours of lemon zest, lime, white peaches and stony minerality. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (16/20) - good quality wine, showcasing the Minho region and the Loureiro grape very well. Elegant and balanced, the mouthwatering acidity hides the residual sugar and lends the ensemble a lifted and very pleasant length. There is a very slight trace of CO2, that vanishes with a quick aeration. The fun part is the achievement of being ethereal but also flavoursome. This is screaming Summer!!! Bring on the grilled sardines or just drink it with friends to scare away the heat.
