Pascal Jolivet La grand Cuvee Indigène 2007 Pouilly Fumé AC
Tasted on September 2010
Appearance – clear, pale lemon. Watery rim, some tears.
Nose – clean, medium intensity, youthful, with some citrus aromas and a hint of gooseberry and a smoky mineral character.
Palate – Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, no tannin and medium body. Medium plus flavour intensity, with fruity citrus notes, green apple and gooseberry, some pungent spice like black pepper. Medium plus length.
Conclusions (16/20) – Very good quality, premium priced, ready to drink but will improve from ageing.
