Appearance - clear and bright, medium plus intensity ruby color.
Nose - clean, youthful with medium plus intensity. Bright fruit aromatic of ripe raspberries, cherry and some blueberry. Nuances of vanilla and butterscotch. A mineral steely hint.
Palate - dry, medium plus acidity, medium plus sinewy, astringent tannins, medium body and medium plus alcohol. Medium flavor intensity, fruit flavors are a bit more hidden by oak than the nose but still there. Some spicy, coffee and minerally steely. medium lis length.
Conclusions (15,75/20) - Ripe but fresh fruit aromatics with just hints of oak on the nose. Fresh palate with the lively fruit of the nose but more spicy and a tad hot on the finish where the oaky tannins play a slightly drying role. Unbalanced right now. Freshness, fruit weight and structure indicate it might become more harmonious while integrating the oak influence with bottle age, for now its frankly too much. Mandatory to decant 1 hour for some welcome mellowing.
