Appearance – clear, medium plus
gold. Paler
rim, some tears.
Nose – clean, medium intensity,
fully
developed. Aromas of ripe apple and dried fruits, some
toasty oak
and a hint of honey.
Palate – Dry, medium acidity,
medium plus
alcohol and body. Flavours of bitter almond, oak and the apple appears
in the
background but very faded. Medium length.
Conclusions (14,5/20) –
Acceptable, high priced, the wine was tired and passed it's prime, I wish I could have tasted this one a bit earlier.
