Ravens Wood Vintners Blend 2008, California AVA, USA

Appearance - clear and bright with medium intensity lemon colour.
Nose - clean, youthful aromatics with medium plus intensity of stone fruits resembling fresh ripe apricots, topical fruits notes of pineapple, mango and guava and a slight touch of green pea. Very exotic.
Palate - dry with medium plus lively acidity, medium plus alcohol and body. Pronounced flavour intensity, very tropical with ripe but fresh notes consistent with the nose. Medium plus length
Conclusions (15,25/20) - good quality, loads of fresh tropical fruit, round and ripe but with a balancing acidity through the pleasing finish. A fun, hedonistic wine to drink now.
