Appearance - clear and bright purple hue with medium plus intensity. Some fatty visible legs.
Nose - clean, youthful with medium plus intensity. Full of ripe but fresh fruitiness, mainly a vivacious character of red fruits like raspberries, cherries, bright strawberry, some plum and just a hint of violets.
Palate - dry, medium acidy but totally refreshing, medium minus tannin level, completely rounded and ripe, medium alcohol fairly integrated in the medium body. Palate still manages to have medium plus intensity of the same primal character as the nose, mainly fresh red fruits, some flowery violet hints and just a slight spicy note. Medium length.
Conclusions (15,25/20) - good quality wine, very nice fruit character, juicy and fresh, unpretentious and ready to enjoy right away. Absolutely no edges, velvety mouthfeel, plain and simple. Ensemble reminding clearly the aromas of fresh must at the winery. A good quality price relation but just not quite what one expects from the Douro either than its colour.
I imagine this wine to be easily confused with some concentrated rosé is tasted blindly in a black glass.
